This Acceptable Use Policy applies when using Intelex corporate websites and, where incorporated into an agreement, demonstrations, portals, APIs and services. Product-specific terms or customer contracts may add or override requirements for a particular service.
Prohibited activity
- Break or attempt to bypass authentication, authorisation or security controls
- Probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without written permission
- Introduce malware, harmful code or automated traffic that degrades a service
- Access, alter or disclose data without authority
- Impersonate a person or misrepresent affiliation
- Use a service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, discriminatory or infringing activity
- Scrape, copy or reverse engineer except where expressly permitted by law or contract
- Share credentials or permit unauthorised account use
Responsible use of AI and automation
Automated access, agents or AI tools must not be used to overwhelm services, evade restrictions, harvest personal data, create deceptive content or make high-impact decisions in breach of law or applicable terms. Users remain responsible for validating outputs and maintaining appropriate human oversight.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected misuse and, where proportionate, restrict access, preserve evidence, notify the customer account owner or relevant authority, and take contractual or legal action. We will consider context, impact, intent and cooperation when responding.
